I'm 23, a professional photographer by trade. My commercial work funds my personal pursuits, which tend to lean toward social issues and expressing what I believe of the world in bodies of carefully crafted art.

However, I have a non sooper-serious-photographer mode in which I enjoy entirely too much time spent on video games, tv shows, and movies. I enjoy music in all its forms but have a particular love for classical. I spend a lot of time doodling instead of being productive and I have a tendency to daydream.

I struggle with my body image but am slowly learning to accept and even love myself. My new goal is not to lose weight, but to be healthy by eating better and exercising and not hanging on to all of the tiny stresses in my life.

I'm always open to questions, comments, concerns, and curiosities. Particularly when they give me the opportunity to talk someone to death about photography.

I was previously enlisted in the Air Force. I was medically discharged before I graduated from basic training for a condition I don't have. Someday, if things work out for me, I'll go back and finish what I started. I'm not one to leave things half-finished and it'll never sit well with me.

8 facts about my body:

  • I have a scar on my right thigh from a dirt biking incident.
  • My right index finger is really crooked.
  • I have very sensitive ears.
  • I have a rib on my right side that sticks out a little.
  • I used to be really ticklish but it’s gone away over time. :(
  • I have a mole on the right side of my chest that causes me concern about once every two years by drastically changing shape.
  • Right now my right leg is swollen and I don’t know why.
  • I have stretch marks on my hips and upper thighs from all the weight I gained in college.

3 facts about my personality:

  • I’m pretty laid-back and will talk about almost anything openly.
  • I am fluent in sarcasm and sometimes I use it at inappropriate moments.
  • I get attached very quickly and I’m very malleable to different circumstances. I will give up on things I thought were important if I feel like I need to.

6 facts about my home town:

  • It’s right around where The Office takes place.
  • My mom would disagree of my assessment of it as my home town but I feel like the only childhood I was ever allowed to have was in Old Forge.
  • It’s full of old people and there’s a funeral home on almost every corner.
  • Three words: Old. Forge. Pizza.
  • Jitty Joe’s is the best ice cream place known to man.
  • Everyone on Orchard Street gets their hair cut by my Grandpa.
